Privacy policy
The outline below sets out the sections an Australian privacy policy needs to cover. It is not legal text and must be completed and reviewed before this site goes live — particularly the cross-border disclosure section, which is directly relevant given offshore delivery.
What we collect
Enquiry form submissions, email and phone correspondence, and any analytics collected from this site. List each category explicitly.
How we use it
Responding to enquiries, delivering engagements, and any other purpose. Under the Australian Privacy Principles the purpose must be stated at or before collection.
Analytics and cookies
State what analytics, if any, run on this site, what they collect, and how visitors can opt out. If none run, say so — it is a simpler and stronger position.
Disclosure to third parties
Including any offshore disclosure. This matters for Minjet specifically because of the hybrid delivery model — APP 8 obligations apply to cross-border disclosure of personal information.
Storage, security and retention
Where data is held, how it is protected, and how long it is kept.
Access and correction
How an individual can request access to or correction of their personal information.
Complaints
How to complain, expected response time, and the path to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
Contact
A named privacy contact and how to reach them.
In the meantime
